Our office is committed to providing you with exceptional quality dental care at affordable fees with comfortable financial options. It is our intent to ensure that you have every opportunity to wisely invest in a smile that will be beautiful, healthy, and functional. For this reason, we have developed the following financial options, which we believe will be of great assistance to you.
Dental Insurance
The insurance coordinator at Gentle Dental Care can assist new and existing patients in researching and understanding dental benefits. As a courtesy to you, we will contact your insurance company for an overview of benefits and help you understand what is, and is not, covered. Insurance billing is provided by Gentle Dental Care. We can assist you in creating an affordable treatment plan that will effectively utilize your dental benefits, eliminating unanticipated charges. Remember, your insurance company is a contract between you and your carrier. We are not party to the contract. Please be aware that some, and perhaps all of the services provided may be non-covered. To avoid misunderstandings with regard to your benefits we suggest that you review your policy manual, or call the telephone number located on the back of your dental insurance card for an overview of benefits.
Care Credit
Because your smile is important to us, we offer a 12 month interest free payment plan on approved credit. This plan is specifically designed for patients not covered by insurance or insurance patients who elect to have treatment beyond what is provided by their insurance carrier. Full Payment
For non-insurance patients, payment in full is required at the time of service. We accept cash, personal checks, debit cards, Visa, Master Card, Discover, and American Express.
Caring Foundation - You may qualify!
The Caring Foundation is a Grant program for children 18 years and under. When accepted, each child is allowed $1000 towards Gentle Dental Care treatment for the year. Applications can be picked up at both Gentle Dental Care locations or they can be mailed to you upon request. A staff member can assist with application preparation if necessary. No social security numbers are necessary for children or parents. When submitting the application parents are asked to provide copies of their last two paycheck stubs.
The Caring Foundation provides coverage for low income families that don't qualify for Idaho Smiles of EDS. The following income scale applies and includes parents and children:
- 2 family members — $28,000 or below
- 3 family members — $35,000 or below
- 4 family members — $42,400 or below
- 5 family members — $49,600 or below
- 6 family members — $56,800 or below
- 7 family members — $64,400 or below
- 8 family members — $71,200 or below
- Add $7,200 for each additional family member over the number 8
We have many famlies in the Treasure Valley that have two working parents and still qualify for this program.
